Hiding from the loud voices
They are in every room of the house
He can’t take it
The screaming and cursing
Make him nervous
His body shakes all over
The family is falling apart
He thinks it is his fault
And no one bothers
Or even cares
To tell him different
Or at least offer a shoulder to cry on
